Animatic~

I changed a few details in the story, still a military operation, but not a sperm and egg story. It may take place in human body. I created a character that represent the enemies to the soldiers.


This is the animatic for the whole story in color, it may show the shot of the final work.

First Test

I think the part that the soldiers fight with the bad conditions during the journey is quite interesting and may deserve to further close up to the details based on different actions. So I did a little test with some rough sketched paper cutting scanned and manipulated in After Effects.

I kind of like the style of neat and elegant color pencil drawings, so I tried color my character like this.

Original storyboard

The story is basically about the sperm tracing the egg. I think it will be fun to explain the process and the journey as a military operation.
The process of the sperm make the egg fertilize is actually really difficult, it will through a lot of danger and obstacles.
It is still the rough story, just occur to me...need further consideration of the details...
